To commemorate Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov's performance at IEM Shanghai 2018, which earned him an MVP award by HLTV.org & betway, our moviemaker Anton "Molen" Koev produced a video with the Bulgarian's best moments at the event.
NRG was the favorite for the event in China going in, and lived up to their name by taking the $125,000 title. Damian "daps" Steele' team dropped only one map along the way, losing Mirage to HellRaisers in the group stage series, and looked indomitable in the playoffs where they defeated Gambit and TYLOO on stage 2-0, not allowing their opponents more than nine rounds per map.
The main man for NRG was their teenage star CeRq, who averaged a 1.34 rating and had only one below-average map — the one they lost to HellRaisers. The Bulgarian AWPer was the best-rated player overall, the best player of the playoffs and the best player of the grand final, which he finished with a 1.87 rating/+35 KDD.
